We did our first show here in Lebanon today, at a school in the ancient village of Byblos. Our clowns, Clay, Samantha, Sabine, and myself, performed a rousing show for about 170 students. We were assisted by employees of MAG in communicating the message of landmine (and unexploded ordinance) safety. We had some success as well integrating a skit where the clowns helped show the kids how to avoid hazardous former war zones. We are excited to perform our second show tomorrow here in Batroun. After that we’re back to Beirut, and on to the three days of shows in the south this weekend.
