Top circus, comedy, and variety acts come together to bring
a raucous and moving show to support Clowns Without Borders USA, in the 26th
Annual Benefit Show on Saturday, March 8, at the historic Alberta Rose Theatre.

    Featured Performers

    The show will include performances by:

    Leapin’ Louie Lichtenstein – Known for his explosive cowboy comedy, Leapin’
    Louie wows audiences with his giant lasso tricks and whip cracking while riding a
    six-foot unicycle. A veteran performer with Clowns Without Borders, Louie has
    entertained in over 35 countries.
    “The crowd lost it after every one of his acts. He’s amazing!” – Portland Mercury

    Poki McCorkle (aka Matthew McCorkle) – Poki creates mesmerizing and
    surreal performances with circus, mime, magic, juggling, and physical comedy.
    Their award-winning acts have been featured in top shows around the world,
    including PALAZZO and Cirque Éloize. Poki has been involved with Clowns
    Without Borders in the Philippines and Palestine, bringing laughter to childrenaffected by natural disasters and conflict.

    Sadye Osterloh – Sadye’s passion for movement and laughter shines through in
    her work as a circus instructor and performer. She combines cardio, strength
    training, and comedy to make fitness fun for all ages.

    Iman Lizarazu – A world-renowned physical comedian, mime, and juggler,
    Iman’s performances are known for their originality and tenderness. She has
    toured internationally and performed with Clowns Without Borders in crisis zones.
    “Original, invigorating, and tender. Iman’s performances are a masterclass in
    physical comedy and juggling.” – New York Times

    Angel Ocasio – A master of physical comedy and clowning, Angel has
    performed worldwide, including as the official Portland Rose Festival Clown
    Prince.

    Heather Pearl – Heather brings “human magic” to the stage with her experience
    in physical theatre and clowning. A graduate of Dell’Arte and the SF School of
    Circus Arts, she performs with a range of companies including Do Jump and the
    Nomadic Theatre Co.

    Tempos Contemporary Circus – This performance arts company blends dance,
    physical theater, and circus arts to create innovative shows, PDX locals, they
    provide training opportunities for emerging artists.

    Spencer Sprocket – Spencer brings his experience in juggling, magic, and
    circus to create performances that inspire joy and laughter. He began his career
    as a camp counselor and now performs professionally for all ages.

    Echo Theater Company: Zig Zags – A dynamic and experimental performance
    group, Echo Theater Company’s Zig Zags combines dance, clowning, and
    physical theater to create thrilling, avant-garde moments of humor and surprise.

    power of laughter and play to bring emotional relief to children and families living in
    crisis situations worldwide. Through performances and workshops, CWB-USA helps
    those in refugee camps, conflict zones, and disaster-affected areas. These
    performances provide a moment of respite, joy, and healing when it is needed most.
    Portland is proud to host the longest-running and most successful fundraising
    event for CWB-USA, and over a dozen local performers have joined CWB projects
    internationally in countries such as Haiti, Turkey, South Africa, El Salvador, and Mexico.
